The Assistant/Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of our Halal BBQ & Smokehouse restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, high-quality food, and a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with experience in managing a team, driving sales, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Ensure compliance with Halal standards and regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Customer Service
- Ensure excellent customer service and address any issues or complaints promptly.
- Create a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for all guests.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.
Financial Management
- Monitor and control operational costs, including food, beverage, and labor expenses.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
Marketing and Promotion
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions to attract new customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media and online marketing strategies.
- Organize and oversee special events and promotions to drive customer engagement.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years F&B experience
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of Halal food standards and regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office.
