Assistant / Restaurant Manager (Halal)

The Assistant/Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of our Halal BBQ & Smokehouse restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, high-quality food, and a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with experience in managing a team, driving sales, and maintaining operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Ensure compliance with Halal standards and regulations.
  • Maintain a high standard of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Customer Service

  • Ensure excellent customer service and address any issues or complaints promptly.
  • Create a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for all guests.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.

Financial Management

  • Monitor and control operational costs, including food, beverage, and labor expenses.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions to attract new customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media and online marketing strategies.
  • Organize and oversee special events and promotions to drive customer engagement.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years F&B experience
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of Halal food standards and regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
