About the Role:
In this permanent position, you'll be responsible for the smooth operation and upkeep of our internal systems and servers. You'll also work closely with vendors, manage software licenses and hardware maintenance, and provide top-notch support to our users.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain internal systems and servers.
- Create and maintain operational documentation.
- Generate reports on system access and perform system patching.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage IT contracts (licenses, maintenance).
- Troubleshoot and resolve user inquiries related to IT systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Strong understanding of on-premise server management, including VMware.
- Ability to independently develop system design and procedure manuals .
- Familiarity with cloud server management (a plus).
- Experience managing multiple Windows servers .
- Knowledge of ITIL concepts and at least 3 years of IT operations and maintenance experience .
Qualities:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to escalate issues effectively and work proactively with the team leader to identify and address operational challenges.
- Readiness to troubleshoot and implement workarounds for system problems.
