Customer Service (Freight Forwarding, Shipping)
Working Days: 5 Days, Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8.30am – 6pm
Location: Bukit Batok, West Region
Salary: $2,000 - $2,700 (AWS + Medical Benefit + OT if applicable)
Our client is a resourceful and proficient one-stop freight forwarding company with a worldwide network of agencies.
Job Description:
- Follow up on customer enquiries, agents & complaints
- Arrange trucking, transportation & collection
- Co-ordinate & monitor shipment with carriers and clients
- Process custom permit
- Process booking for shipments with shipping lines/consol & prepare shipping documents
- Ensure all cargoes are send in good condition and if any damage shall revert to customer immediately
- Keep Sales Personnel informed about their bookings
- Assist with billing, input job reference and closing jobs
- Support in all aspect of sales and operational activities
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent
- At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience, preferably in Freight Forwarding / Shipping industry.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, Portnet
- Preferably specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Preferably experienced in shipping systems, such as online booking, declaring custom permit
