As an Assistant Housekeeper, you are responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the housekeeping department.
Duties:
- Oversee all housekeeping staffs, including work scheduling, coordinating work, training and mentoring.
- Assign and monitor the work of Room Attendants and Porters.
- Conduct daily briefing to room attendants before the start of their shift.
- Inspect all rooms to ensure cleanliness is up to the hotel's standard.
- Reports any room defects to the engineering department.
- Ensure all lost and found items are handed over to the housekeeping office.
- Handle guests' complaints.
Requirements:
- Minimum a NITEC in Hospitality or relevant.
- Proven experience in a housekeeping role within a hospitality environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Effective communication skills, with proficiency in addressing guest needs and staff coordination.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and overnight shift (5 days work week)
