Reporting to the Head of Operations (HOD) the duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:-
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Operations Specialists, and collaboratively carry out the following duties:
- General insurance policy processing, which includes new policy issuance, invoicing, endorsement, renewal and cancellation, while ensuring compliance with operating manuals, internal controls and guidelines
- Familiar with insurance operations for Personal lines as well as Commercial lines insurance operations.
- Act as a catalyst to forge team work, resolve team conflicts with an operational excellence mentality demonstrated through meticulous follow-ups and actions.
- Liaising with various stakeholders and department as required to facilitate document turnaround time
- Operational planning, and introduction of improvement initiatives in work flow and processes
- Liaise with customers on their policy applications when required
- Maintain proper e-documentation
- Ensure compliance of SOP and procedures in policy processing and accuracy in documentation
- Prepare management reports and audit schedules
- Participate in IT automation initiatives and projects
- Other duties as assigned by the HOD/COO
Requirements:
- Diploma Holder in any discipline with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in the Insurance industry
- Candidates with insurance certifications on BCP, PGI and CommGI with prior leadership experience will be favourably considered
- Accurate, meticulous and results oriented
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
