Research Officer, Laboratory of Genome Function (GIS)

The Laboratory of Genome Function, led by Dr. Tim Stuart (https://stuartlab.org) at the Genome Institute of Singapore is seeking a senior research officer interested in single-cell epigenomics. The successful candidate will lead the testing and development of new genomic assays, apply single-cell assays to clinical tissue samples, and oversee the day-to-day operation of the lab.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or a related field
  • Experience with high-throughput sequencing, molecular cloning, microscopy, single-cell genomics, and cell culture techniques
  • Ability to work independently to execute and troubleshoot experiments
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
