5.5 days (Required to work OT when needed)
Monday to Friday: 8.30 am – 5.30 pm / Saturday: 8.30 am – 12.30 pm
$ 2000 - $ 2300 + $100 (Performance Incentive) + OT + AWS + VB
Job Requirements
- At least primary / secondary education level.
- At least 2 years relevant working experience in the related field.
- Knowledge in warehouse operation and possess a Forklift license will be an advantage.
- Able to work OT when needed.
- Willing to handle bio-hazardous / medical waste.
Job Responsibilities / Duties
- Identify and sort materials which are suitable for recycling, shredding process, and incineration process.
- Sort materials at the warehouse facility; unpack bulk-pallets from bulky packaging, deposit materials into bins and activate bin-lifter for material shredding process.
- Identify materials which require incineration process. Consolidate these materials to be transferred to Incineration Plant.
- Remove recyclable items, i.e., card boards, plastic containers, and metals, and consolidate recyclable items at designated recycling bins.
- Monitor and report operational faults of shredder, motors, and control system.
- Perform daily safety checklist and maintenance checklist.
- Perform daily housekeeping of work area.
- Keep daily Logbook of Incoming Pallets and Outgoing Pallets.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies as directed.
- May be required to handle potentially bio-hazardous materials and must ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
