Project Manager (Programme Management) – Innovation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science
We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Project Manager to lead and drive AI projects across multiple regions around the globe.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI technologies, machine learning models, data analysis, and their practical applications in business contexts towards contributing to revenue growth.
This role demands strong project management skills, including proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Global experience would be important to coordinate and implement AI projects on a multinational scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage AI projects end to end, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with global teams to identify AI opportunities, define project scope, and establish project timelines and budgets.
- Apply strong project management methodologies to monitor progress, manage issues, and ensure timely delivery of AI solutions.
- Utilise advanced data analysis techniques to obtain insights and make data-driven decisions that enhance AI model performance and business outcomes.
- Drive AI-led innovation by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI and machine learning.
- Champion the integration of AI technologies into business processes, demonstrating a clear understanding of how AI drives return and enhances operational efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical concepts into clear business insights and recommendations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the AI team, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related AI, Machine Learning field. Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) welcomed but not must.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in project management with a focus on AI, machine learning, and data analytics.
- Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and algorithms, as well as data science methodologies, and data insights for commercial application.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Wrike, Adobe Workfront, Smartsheet, Asana, Microsoft Project etc.
- Global experience managing projects across diverse regions (Worldwide)
- Be a problem-solver, have attention to detail, have a strong commercial mindset, able to drive change and be innovative.
- Certification in project management (PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, e-commerce, or telecommunications where AI plays a transformative role.
