Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee network and cloud infrastructure projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of networking technologies, cloud platforms, and infrastructure deployments. This role requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to ensure project success and alignment with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, implementation, and tracking of network and cloud infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
- Resource Management: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize potential impacts on project deliverables.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track project costs, and ensure financial accountability.
- Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and ensuring expectations are managed appropriately.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders and management.
- Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Project Manager managing complex network and cloud infrastructure projects.
- Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in networking (LAN/WAN), cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and infrastructure components (servers, storage, virtualization).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
