Responsibilities
- Support the Concept team and helps with game concept art creation.
- Create high quality production concepts, that may include Environment, Character, Creature, and mech/props.
- Maintaining a consistent quality of work while staying on schedule.
- Creating detailed concept designs specific to the brief such as 2D drawings or 3D renders.
- Work with feedback from the Concept art lead to iterate and achieve visual direction.
Requirements
- 2- 3 years’ experience working in game development, Concept design with at least 1 shipped title preferable.
- Strong proficiency with 2D creation software such as Photoshop.
- Basic knowledge of 3D (Maya, Blender).
- Strong foundation in the traditional arts, including figure drawing, landscape painting and illustration.
- Self-motivated, good communication skills, and a great team-player with a positive attitude.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Solicits feedback frequently; accepts critiques and uses feedback to improve work.
- Able to create presentable design idea variations.
- Able to work in multiple artistic styles.
- Strong understanding of art foundations such as forms, shapes and design language.
