KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
You will improve Eastspring’s multi-asset capabilities by working on the data and technology portions of prioritized projects across the MAPS Department.
The role will involve building and enhancing data feeds, data repositories, reports, and dynamic visualisation tools. Your data and technology skills will help the MAPS Department provide robust financial solutions for our clients.
You will be based in Singapore and will collaborate widely: with other members of MAPS; with Quant developers in other Investment teams; and with members of Eastspring's IT and Data and Operations teams.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Design, build and maintain data and software infrastructure to enable robust and efficient investment processes.
- Build high quality processes to load, access, and analyse underlying data sets.
- Design and build dashboards to allow users to visualise and interact with underlying data sets.
- Work closely with analysts and fund managers to build high quality data-driven investment solutions.
- Work closely with other Quantitative Developers to ensure tools and data sets used are robust, version controlled, and consistent with best practice.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in each of the following…
- Strong academic track record in a quantitative discipline.
- Programming experience in one of R, Python, Matlab, SAS or similar.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Data visualisation experience in one of R, Python, Power BI, or Excel.
- Experience using mathematical and statistical models to solve real-life problems.
