Due to growth and succession planning, they are looking for a Deputy Head of Facultative to join the team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of the Facultative in managing and growing the facultative reinsurance portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making, foster strong relationships with clients and brokers, and drive the success of our facultative business.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a high-level reinsurance service to existing treaty clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and assess the evolving needs of clients, recommending optimal treaty programs and products.
- Proactively identify and target new treaty clients and reinsurance markets, developing and implementing strategic business plans to acquire new business.
- Reinsurance market knowledge in SEA, with inclinations to Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
- Possess proficiency in widely used treaty wordings, terms, and conditions, with a focus on Property Treaty Reinsurance.
- Work closely with the Technical Processing and Broking Support department to maintain accurate documentation and records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline, with 5 years of experience in the reinsurance industry.
- Should minimally possess qualifications including MAS CGI or other relevant professional (re)insurance certifications.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
