RESPONSIBILITIES

NTUC Health is one of the largest and fastest-growing community health and eldercare providers in Singapore. We are looking for an experienced communications, PR and marketing manager to lead company-wide initiatives to raise the profile of the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for communications professionals who wish to be exposed to the growing social and community sector in Singapore, and who wish to make a difference to an ageing society. The candidate will directly support the Communications and Branding head in planning and strategy, and play a key role in driving the overall performance of the team.

  • Identify and capitalise on opportunities to enhance and promote the organisation's reputation through strategic internal and external communications.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communication strategies that align with the organisation's objectives and enhance its public image.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of high-impact corporate and media communication programmes, including organising media interviews, press events, and other promotional activities.
  • Foster and maintain strong media relationships, proactively handling media inquiries, and effectively managing public perception of the organisation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on communication strategies and materials to support business targets and organisational initiatives.
  • Oversee the creation, editing, and dissemination of high-quality communication materials, including press releases, marketing materials and other corporate documents for both internal and external audiences.
  • Manage relationships with third-party agencies to produce high quality marketing collateral that aligns with NTUC Health's branding and communication guidelines.
  • Lead the analysis of communication effectiveness by tracking, monitoring, and evaluating online and offline channels, and provide strategic insights and recommendations to continuously improve communication strategies and outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate should be able to think strategically and communicate ideas well. He/she should also be a self-starter with good people skills; is comfortable with a fast and dynamic pace of work, and with driving projects independently. The candidate should have strong writing skills, and at least 7 years of relevant experience in media relations, stakeholder communications, and marketing. Preference will be given to those who have people management experience.

  • University degree, preferably with major in communications, journalism, or related disciplines
  • At least 7 years of experience in a public relations and communications/ branding background.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • He/she should be comfortable with a fast and dynamic pace of work, and with managing different projects concurrently.
  • Self-driven and a team-player
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong thinker with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
