About Our Client
Our client, a prominent company in Singapore's shipping and distribution industry, is expanding their IT operations. They seek a Deputy Manager Business Analyst for their Liner Management Systems to join their team.
Job Description
As a Deputy Manager Business Analyst -Shipping, you will be responsible for:
- Document and manage Business/Requirement Specifications and Design Workflows as necessary. Translate business needs into effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the offshore team to lead, manage, and track development tasks within defined timelines. Review deliverables to ensure quality.
- Manage and ensure the availability and reliability of the LMS application.
- Lead change impact analysis, define timelines, manage project tasks, and monitor progress.
- Guide and participate in pre-User/QA Testing. Provide User Guides/Manuals, Release Notes, manage User Onboarding, and conduct User Training as necessary.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in a shipping environment, including API interfaces to various operation systems.
- Strong business analysis skills, domain knowledge, and Subject Matter Expertise (SME)
- Experience in full-lifecycle software development, including developing multi-tiered enterprise applications with Microsoft technologies.
