Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Information Technology department, ensuring the effective execution of all IT-related functions and operations including network security, user access and server/database backups.
- Ensure that IT applications, systems, and infrastructure are fully aligned with the organization's business objectives and strategic goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance for IT projects, ensuring they are planned, executed, and delivered on time, within budget, and meet all required functionalities and specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement, ensuring that IT solutions support and enhance overall business performance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the organization's IT strategy and operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards in all IT activities and initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, service providers, and stakeholders to ensure reliable and efficient IT services and support.
- Provide support for projects including proposals, testing and documentation.
- Participate in tender preparation including documentation and site surveys.
- Develop IT policies and participate in ISO audits.
- Develop, implement and maintain software applications for in-house and projects.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree (Business IT, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or other similar disciplines is an advantage)
- 8-10 years of relevant IT experience either in application and/or infrastructure including managerial role experience
- Windows Server 2019/2022 Server administration including AD, DNS, Web Server management, clustering.
- Network Administration including VLAN technology, setup and configuration of switches (Cisco,Aruba,Dell, others).
- FortiGate Firewall administration including VPN setup, Web, IP filtering.
- C# .Net development including technologies such as MVC, microservices, Git.
- MSSQL Server 2019/2022 Database administration.
- Knowledgeable on ISO27k certification.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Pro-active and a good team player
Work Environment:
- The IT Manager typically works in an office environment but may need to travel to other external sites.
- The role may require working outside regular business hours to address critical issues or implement system upgrades.
