About the role

We have key positions available for this role as a Client Manager to build a strong team of professionals at a country level.

Applicants will be part of a dynamic team of specialist involved to deliver various types of training courses on Performance Improvement (PI) subjects, including Lean, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma qualification programs.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Delivering public training courses and in-house training solutions to BSI standards of excellence to develop knowledge and skills.
  • Providing sales and technical support during the sales process to convince clients of BSI services and collaborating closely with the Training Business Director to grow the PI business in Singapore.
  • Modifying and/or developing training materials and solutions to meet market needs and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Tutoring:

  • Deliver BSI training courses to add value to customers and their organizations.
  • Inform and update customers about BSI services to ensure their needs are met during training sessions.
  • Provide delegates with information on how the training aligns with the overall customer journey with BSI to raise awareness.
  • Deliver excellent training courses and maintain positive interactions with customers and stakeholders to enhance BSI's reputation.
  • Provide feedback to support course development in line with new and existing product development processes.
  • Support the design of training solutions (e.g., classroom, online, eLearning, correspondence, mentoring, coaching) to improve quality and range.
  • Maintain and enhance professional qualifications in relevant disciplines to stay current in your area of expertise.
  • Proactively engage with peers and stakeholders to ensure continual improvement, in line with BSI standards of excellence for training delivery.
  • Provide technical support to the training sales and marketing teams to enhance the growth of the training business.

About you

To be successful in this role you need to thrive in a process driven, fast pace, customer focused environment and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail. You must be self-motivated and have the ability to remain calm whilst managing numerous priorities. Industrial working experience and training competency are essential.

You will also be required to have:

  • A degree in a related field or a further education diploma with proven experience in Lean and Six Sigma tools application and project management.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt qualification.
  • Experience in conducting training courses and providing project coaching on Lean Six Sigma subjects.
  • ACLP/ACTA qualification (existing qualified tutor preferred).
  • Excellent presentation skills, capable of professionally and effectively training delivery ability to senior managers and different levels of staff of the client’s organization.
  • Energy and commitment to undertake the demanding tutor role, working with clients from various industries and sectors.
  • Ability to stay updated with changes in business, industry, and management thinking, and to develop new courses accordingly.
  • Strong self-organization and motivation skills to manage workload effectively.
  • Thorough technical knowledge to interpret the language of the client organization.
