Cyber Data Risk & Resilience

The mission of CYBER DATA RISK & RESILIENCE is to deliver first-line defences to manage risks to Firm technology, information and cyber threats through risk identification, control management and assurance. This allows the business to operate and grow in a secure and legally compliant manner.

The Multi Cloud Data Protection Security team is part of Cloud Security team, within the Technology and Operational Risk organization. The mission of Data Protection is to safely protect the Firm's data, infrastructure, and systems in off-premises environments. This includes teams that define strategy and architecture, manage product lifecycle and features, and build data security applications and services to secure the Firm's journey to the cloud. The successful candidate will be a senior individual contributor or team lead with a background in DevSecOps engineering and an interest in building large-scale, cutting-edge systems to solve complex problems in the cloud.

The Cloud Data Protection Security team sets the vision and strategy for Morgan Stanley's use of cloud security products and services. The team translates that strategy into a product roadmap and backlog and builds data protection software to deliver security capabilities that enable new business and reduce risk to the Firm.


Job Profile

>Manage complex troubleshooting tasks related to Cyber infrastructure, ensuring both cyber and business impacts are addressed with a hands-on approach.
>Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior Cyber Operations staff, fostering their professional development and cultivating a cohesive global team.
>Serve as a liaison with regional senior leadership partners and the Fusion Command Centre.
>Stay informed about the evolving cyber threats, vulnerabilities and industry trends, ensuring the firm remains at the forefront of security and innovative practices.
>Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, policies and procedures.
>Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve dependencies and roadblocks at all organizational levels.
>Define quality Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), leveraging data to drive decisions and optimize processes.
>Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open dialogue and productive conflict resolution.
>Provide incident response support for cyber infrastructure incidents, coordinating with relevant teams to minimize impact and ensure timely resolution.


Requirement:

>Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
>Min 10 years of relevant experience in Cyber space
>Experience supporting and troubleshooting, Enterprise Infrastructure including Authentication, Certificates, Encryption, Identity Management, Firewalls, Proxies, Privileged Access, TCP/IP.
>Understanding of Dev Sec Ops framework, strong focus and experience with driving value delivery and sustainable practices would be key to succeed in this role.
>Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire others.
>Comfortable working as an integral member of a global organization with team members, stakeholders, senior management, and clients in different regions across the globe.
>Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments and levels of the organization.
