About Our Client
Our client is part of a highly reputable Singaporean GLC, and continue to be an integral contributor to the nation. They are now looking for a Finance Controller & Business Partner to be part of their established finance team.
Job Description
- Provide detailed monthly forecasts and performance analysis for each business unit, identifying key trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and recommend effective pricing strategies and investment opportunities to enhance revenue generation, taking into account market conditions and business objectives.
- Regularly review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to corporate governance standards, particularly in relation to investments and expenditures.
- Conduct thorough assessments to ensure that all investments and expenses undertaken by business units are viable, feasible, and sustainable in the long term.
- Continuously monitor revenue streams to detect any deviations from projections, implement corrective measures, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Oversee all audit activities, ensuring strict compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements to safeguard the organization's financial integrity.
- Consolidate and review budgets for the organization and its entities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial objectives.
- Establish clear targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for team leads, providing guidance and support to achieve desired outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive budget proposals and recommendations, ensuring they support optimal financial sustainability and enhance overall business performance.
The Successful Applicant
- A degree in Accountancy, Finance Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial management or a similar role.
- Strong business acumen with in-depth knowledge of market best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- People management experience is highly beneficial.
- Solid business partnering and FP&A track-record.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address financial challenges and implement effective solutions.
