Primary Responsibilities


The BIM Manager will develop and manage the growth of BIM and Revit Integration through the HDR Singapore operation. In addition, the role includes the day-to-day management of the office CAD team to ensure the correct level of resource and technical input is applied to achieve project delivery objectives.

In the role of BIM Manager we'll count on you to:

  • Review and update existing BIM and REVIT development plans in accordance with local and international requirements.
  • Provide production of BIM / Revit / CAD support and will be responsible for the introduction and implementation of BIM with coordination with the office directors.
  • Assist management with requirements of BIM/Revit resource levels.
  • Maintain company standard drawings, catalogue library system including monitoring and logging of all catalogues to ensure they are up to date and in order.
  • Liaise with Directors/Lead Engineers to ensure that resources are planned and available to meet the office project delivery requirements.
  • Complete drawing issue sheet on behalf of engineers as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain all modelling layering standards.
  • Attend and contribute to project review meetings and consider ways to constantly improve BIM/Revit and CAD delivery in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
  • Schedule drawing work and completion to suit project delivery programme.
  • Manage the incoming and outgoing drawing registers on a company-based system including using office based hard copy systems.
  • Provide input to project start-up meeting on all ongoing works and planning.
  • Conduct project related model reviews.
  • Clean up all BIM/Revit and CAD files for project closeout.
  • Daily / monthly backups of all outgoing work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience of working in a consultancy, or working for a large contractor in a design capacity.
  • Extension knowledge and skill of AutoCAD/3D modelling, to provide CAD/BIM/Revit drawings and designs for both electrical, mechanical, and public health engineers within the team including outworkers. Experience in modular building design would be of advantage.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience – expert in BIM/2D and 3D CAD and Revit.
  • Excellent presentation skills, communication and client facing skills.
  • Competency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • Good knowledge and use of appropriate project and design analysis software.
  • Knowledge on AutoCAD and MEP Modelling in Revit.
  • Conversant in international or local codes and regulations as well as authority submission procedures.
  • Be familiar with Singapore BCA BIM guidelines and authority submissions.
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit, Naviswork & Excel
  • Good communication and interaction skills.
  • Singaporean or PR essential.
