Responsibilities
- Manage, lead and/or work closely with a team of engineers and supervisors
- Review job specifications and analyse technical drawings
- Plan, arrange and supervise fabrication & installation work activities
- Coordinate work activities with other disciplines, clients' resident representatives and subcontractors
- Ensure that all mechanical works are carried out in accordance with contractual requirements and completed on schedule
- Prepare progress reports, work method statements and forecasts
- Oversees Punch List work activities
- Collaborate with HSE Department to implement and ensure safety measures at the job site
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Pre-requisites
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in construction projects
- Capable of analyzing field problems and recommending a timely resolution
- Possess strong management and organizational skills
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Strong commitment to safety
- Willing to work in construction site conditions
- Project Location: Jurong Island (Transport will be provided from designated pick-up points)
