We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Urban Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, with a focus on sustainable development, policy analysis, and project management. The Senior Urban Planner will be responsible for leading complex planning projects, providing expert advice on urban development, and collaborating with stakeholders to create innovative solutions for urban growth and revitalization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:Lead and manage comprehensive urban planning projects from inception to completion.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Urban Planning and Design:Conduct research and analysis on urban trends, land use, zoning, transportation, and environmental impacts.
Develop and review urban design plans, policies, and regulations.
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate planning concepts and proposals.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Facilitate public meetings, workshops, and consultations to gather input and build consensus.
Collaborate with government agencies, community organizations, developers, and the public to address planning issues.
Represent the organization in meetings with local, regional, and national authorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Geography, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in urban planning, with a focus on large-scale projects and policy development.
- Professional certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
