Job Description
- Design and develop optical systems and components for sensors and measurement devices.
- Conduct optical simulations and modeling to predict system performance and optimize designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics, software, and mechanical engineers, to integrate optical systems into products.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to improve design and performance.
- Develop and document optical design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optics, Photonics, Physics, or a related field.
- At least 3 experience in optical design and development, preferably in the sensor or automation industry.
- Proficiency in optical design software such as Zemax, Code V, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of optical principles, including lens design, laser optics, and fiber optics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
