As a key member of our Site Team, you will participate and deliver our Projects to the best of your abilities.
What will you be doing?
- To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
- To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
- Supervise all works including all mechanical and electrical works e.g. ACMV, fire protection, Electrical, ELV, plumbing, sanitary system, etc.
- Full-time supervision for new erection of buildings work and external piping system
- To coordinate with the contractor, relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc for the works
- To review, evaluate and assess all M&E works and site progress
- To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
- To supervise the installation of and witnessing of all testing and commissioning of services.
What do you need to have?
- Familiar with new building construction.
- Diploma in mechanical and electrical engineering from a recognized tertiary institution
- At least 10 years' working experience as a Resident Technical Officer
- Fully conversant with Building Control Act and Regulations and various technical authorities. Able to systematically maintain site records, contract documents and meet reporting requirements under Building Control Act.
- Experience in shipyard building construction will be an advantage
- Registered with IES/BCA as Resident Technical Officer
