Responsibilities
- Ensure food temperature stays safe.
- Prepare ingredients, wash vegetables, clean, cut, and assist the Chef.
- Monitor personal hygiene, uniform cleanliness, and workstation sanitation.
- Help with refrigerator cleaning and workstation setup.
- Understand the risks of contaminated food and manage mise-en-place in the fridge.
- Check and report equipment issues to supervisors
- Properly store products in the fridge with a first-in-first-out system and avoid placing items on the floor.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, and follow health and safety rules.
- Perform other tasks as instructed by supervisors.
- Equipped with Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred.
