ROLE
Under the supervision of the APAC Finance Director, the Business Controller will participate to:
- Ensure the consistency between financial objectives of TR APAC market and the TR WW strategy.
- Secure the achievement of targets assigned to the market and work on corrective plans to protect them.
- The planning, monitoring, reporting & analysis of the TR APAC business performance.
- Ensure the monthly financial closing is done properly within the HQ deadlines.
- Ensure that LVMH accounting standards & internal control guidelines are respected.
- Prepare business simulations for continuous planning.
- Develop Controlling processes and ensure their application within the TR APAC team.
RELATIONS
- Key contact for all Financial Departments based in HQ: Controlling, Accounting, Consolidation & Reporting
- Day to day work with Sales Teams, Regional Team (Marketing / Training / Merchandising), Accounting Team and TR Worldwide
CLOSING
- Participate to monthly closing in relationship with Operational Team & Accounting
- Analyse the overall delivery of the financial targets on a monthly basis and report back to the business with recommendations as necessary (Outlook, Sell Out, Sell In, monthly P&L closing)
- Monthly measure & analyse discrepancies between actual & targets by customers
- Support Monthly reporting to HQ, local Finance & Sales team & marketing team
- Involvement in the auditing process – both internal and external as required
BUDGET
- Actively involved in the Budget process within TR APAC in accordance with HQ requirement and timetable (Sell Out, Sell In, Operating Profit, CAPEX)
- Maintain cost control responsibility. Provide relevant reports and rationale, with recommended action plans to the business for tight budget control.
- Preparation of budget working files
OTHER
- Support on business analysis, cost tracking, ad hoc request & projects
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- University or Business School Master
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Business controlling and/or Audit.
- Candidates with retail & FMCG background are preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent excel skills.
- Advanced Knowledge of financial system (SAP, SyRUS, Orion)
- Independent an problem-solving skills
