Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive procurement procedures, including initiating purchase requisitions, soliciting quotes, issuing purchase orders, and managing goods delivery in alignment with purchasing protocols.
- Engage in price negotiations and foster positive relationships with suppliers.
- Supervise the provisioning of food and freshwater to vessels.
- Accelerate order processing and track delivery progress.
- Implement inventory management and conduct stock audits for all supplied goods.
- Liaise with Superintendents and vessels regarding requisition matters.
- Collaborate closely with the Shipping department and company launch personnel in executing responsibilities.
- Fulfill other assigned duties as directed by the purchasing manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Purchasing, or Supply Chain with equivalent qualifications.
- 3 years purchasing experience in Marine or similar industry.
- Good interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
- Neat and meticulous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
