Who we are:
The Technical & Scientific Solution (TSS) group is part of the Life Science Business and provides high quality scientific and technical support to customers developing or manufacturing biopharmaceuticals. This Technical Operation Engineer role will be part of Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) function under TSS organization mainly managing Singapore M Lab Collaboration Center operation and support Vpro Viral Reduction Filtration (VRF) services. This role will be based out of Singapore. This is a rewarding role for a young scientist with an interest in lab management and biopharmaceutical industry.
Your Role:
- Plan and conduct experimental projects in laboratories according to client’s protocol.
- Ensure successful implementation of technologies in pre-clinical and clinical validation testing.
- Report any unexpected observation during test process to manager and support troubleshooting process.
- Document data with integrity and honesty according to Good Documentation Practices.
- Manage M Lab administration work which include but not limited to training set-up, shipping, inventory tracking, order placement and EHS requirement
- Support and proactively participate M Lab global or APAC initiative
- Maintain and develop SOP need to ensure M Lab operation are compliance to best practices.
- Act as the owner of M Lab to govern the safety and practices are adopted by user at all time.
- Work closely with M Lab users to identifying gaps and needs and actively propose solution to optimize M Lab capability and operation.
Who you are:
- Bachelor related to science and engineering (eg. Chemical, Bioscience) or with 1 year experience in biopharma industry
- Technical communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Strong project and time management skill.
- Sound analytical and communication skills and learning agility
- Capable of working independently, self-motivated and proactive
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and “can-do” attitude
