Anglican Preschool Services (APS) is a faith-based preschool operator and an entity of the Anglican Diocese of Singapore. We operate 18 preschools including Little Seeds Preschool and St. James’ Church Kindergarten.

We are looking for a Centre Leader (Principal) to helm the daily operations of our centres. A Centre Leader (Principal) who develops and inspires our teaching team to deliver high quality teaching and learning for our children. A Centre Leader (Principal) who is a positive culture bearer, and leads in building a nurturing, loving and respectful environment for our educators and children.


Responsibilities:

· Helm the daily operations of the Centre

· Mentor and inspire educators to create an optimal and safe environment appropriate for the holistic development and care of the children

· Serve as our organization’s culture bearer and positive role model for the staff

· Plan, develop and implement the programme, curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment

· Continuously improve and refine the children’s learning experiences

· Establish sustainable and collaborative partnerships with our community of parents, families, and staff

· Manage the centre budget and oversee the efficient and cost-effective use of centre resources

· Ensure regulatory compliance


Requirements

· Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL) / Diploma in Pre-school Education Leadership (DPE-L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Leadership (DECCE-L)

· Diploma in Pre-School Teaching, Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or other Early Childhood Diploma Qualification(s)

· ECDA certified L2 educator

· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a professional early childhood setting

· Preferably holds a valid first aid certificate recognized by ECDA

· Strong knowledge of early childhood curriculum, pedagogy and assessments
