Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support Excellence: Provide top-tier support for PCs, laptops, servers, Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, security, and networks to ensure high user satisfaction.
- Customer-Centric Assistance: Lead a team of IT Engineers to assist local IT with 1st and 2nd level technical support, always demonstrating a customer-friendly attitude.
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with a diverse range of users and peer groups across different disciplines.
- Policy Enforcement: Enforce IT policies and encourage users to adhere to established standards.
- IT Updates: Keep employees informed about IT-related progress, issues, and improvements.
- Knowledge Sharing: Conduct root cause analysis and actively share knowledge with global colleagues.
- Network and Systems Support: Support network and regional systems for process automation and local databases.
- On-Site Projects: Participate in various on-site projects, ranging from infrastructure upgrades to core service changes.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Degree in a related field with Cisco Associate certification (CCNA) is preferred
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of technical IT support (level 2) experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in network and server management, including Azure cloud, Windows Server 2016, and Microsoft 365.
- End-User Support Skills: Proficient in remote desktop/user support, firewall setup management, and CCTV.
- Manufacturing IT Experience: Experience managing manufacturing site control room systems and troubleshooting hardware issues.
- Application Support: Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint design is an advantage.
