My Client is a leading stable firm in Singapore.
We're looking for an experienced Software Application Support and Tester role focused on application support and source code review. You'll be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and supporting the implementation of developments or enhancements to our applications.
**Responsibilities:**
- Review and analyze code to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Support the implementation of enhancements or new business solutions.
- Execute comprehensive unit tests and performance testing to maintain application performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure effective resolution.
- Manage test phases including system integration, functional testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop testing plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
- Facilitate automated testing and ensure the reuse of test scripts.
- Prioritize and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests based on business needs.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external partners/vendors on issues and escalations.
- Provide support and respond to inquiries related to business systems.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Science/Engineering, or related IT discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in application support, including source code review.
- 3+ years of experience in testing, including automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, standards, and automated testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Ability to collaborate, communicate, and troubleshoot technical issues across teams.
- Understanding of business complexity and project dependencies.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Java, SQL, and Linux.
- Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL incident management processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- This role involves reviewing and analyzing code, supporting application enhancements, and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills are essential for effective communication and collaboration.
