Job Summary:

- Salary range: up to SGD 4,500 (dep on exp)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work Impart skills & concepts to promote health & fitness with positive social interaction.
- Develop and review PE lesson plans, unit plans, scheme of work & T&L resources.
- Conduct Physical Education Lesson.
- Evaluate students’ competence and monitor progress.
- Plan, organise and coordinate department and school programmes.
- Maintain positive teacher-student relationship.
- Monitor students’ social and emotional well-being.
- Work with parents and relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in whole school activities as and when required.
- Perform any CCA and other duties as and when required.
- Contribute to school activities, special events, excursions or meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Perform other duties as assigned by VP, IP.
Requirements:
- Must possess a Diploma in PE from NIE.
- Must have minimum of 3 years teaching PE in a school.
- At least 1 year experience teaching the subject at foundation (primary school) or Normal Technical level (secondary school).
- Possess effective communication, interpersonal and class management skills.
- Candidate must possess a passion to work with students who are more kinesthetically inclined and those with learning difficulties.
- Candidate must be willing to take on work in pastoral care and character development.
- Candidate must be able to take initiative, be creative and work independently.
- Candidates who were former Primary School teachers and who have moved on to teach in Secondary Schools will have an added advantage.
- Appointment is on a 2-year employment contract on renewal basis.
