Key Responsibilities:
The Master Speakers Coach is responsible for training, mentoring, and developing individuals to become effective and engaging public speakers, using the Master Speakers Curriculum.
1. Coaching and Training:
· Provide one-on-one coaching and group workshops to improve students’ public speaking abilities.
· Teach and demonstrate effective communication techniques in various contexts.
· Provide constructive feedback on speech content, structure, and delivery.
2. Customer Engagement:
· Build strong rapport with students, understanding their unique challenges and goals.
· Provide ongoing support and motivation to students throughout their training journey.
· Organise and conduct practice sessions, including presentations and public speaking events.
· Keep parents informed about their child's progress in class through regular updates.
3. Professional Development:
· Continuously develop and refine public speaking skills and knowledge through research, practice, and participation in relevant professional events.
· Embrace a growth mindset, welcoming feedback and peer review to improve performance and enhance expertise.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
· Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Education, or a related field preferred.
· Diploma holders are welcomed to apply.
2. Experience:
· Preferably with 1 year of experience working with young children in theatre/speech & drama.
· Public speaking coaching or training experience
· Experience in developing public speaking curriculum (an added advantage)
3. Skills:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to provide constructive feedback in a supportive and motivational manner.
· Knowledge of various public speaking techniques and styles.
4. Personal Attributes:
· Passion for inspiring and nurturing young minds.
· Eagerness to grow, learn, and innovate in teaching methodologies.
· Strong passion for arts and drama.
· Enjoy working with children and ability to connect with them effectively.
