Join our team as a Senior Executive / Executive specializing in Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS) and Facilities Management (FM). This pivotal role is instrumental in ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency. You will drive the implementation of QEHS initiatives and oversee FM activities to optimize our workplace environment and uphold regulatory compliance. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a strong background in QEHS/FM management and a passion for creating safe, healthy, and sustainable workspaces.
QEHS Responsibilities:
1. Implement Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS) programs onsite.
2. Participate in monitoring and controlling safety standards.
3. Develop QEHS procedures, including establishing safe work procedures to minimize foreseeable risk in the workplace.
4. Analyse data in compliance with current regulations and make appropriate recommendations to prevent new or recurring accidents.
5. Conduct trend analysis, audits, accident investigations and site inspections of operational procedures, facility design, equipment and materials.
6. Make recommendations for changes in the work environment based on interpretations and principles of professional practices.
7. Measure and monitor the performance of site inspections and follow-up with corrective measures reports.
8. Develop QEHS-related training material and conduct training based on training matrix.
9. Evaluate new hazardous materials to ensure compliance in QEHS requirements.
10. Review new/current QEHS related legislation and evaluate the impacts to organization.
11. Demonstrate teamwork in all interactions with other groups and departments.
FM Responsibilities:
1. Oversee maintenance in addition to monitoring running costs.
2. Ensuring energy efficiency, solving cleaning, managing waste, plumbing issues and more.
3. Ensuring lift system, fire system and more servicing and maintenance to be done
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health required
2. Self-motivated worker
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Possess fluent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
5. Good understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Management Systems Audits process
6. Good understanding of BizSAFE Programme Auditing
7. Able to work effectively, diplomatically, and calmly in emergency situations
8. Possession of Class 2 or 3 license and own vehicle will be advantageous
