Metta Welfare Association (Metta) was founded in 1992 by Venerable Chao Khun Fa Zhao BBM, who also serves as the President of the Golden Pagoda Buddhist Temple and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum. Officially registered as a society in 1994, Metta is proudly endorsed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), the Ministry of Health (MOH), and the Ministry of Education (MOE).

We are also active members of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), the Singapore Hospice Council, and the Singapore Disability Sports Council. Job Title: IT Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including network connectivity, hardware, software, and related systems, ensuring all systems are secure and operational.
  • Issue Resolution: Respond promptly to IT-related issues and requests, providing effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Inventory and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT hardware, software, inventory, services, and IT-related contracts and documentation.
  • Innovation and Development: Research and develop new systems and technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Security Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for IT security, including vulnerability assessments and user training.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and/or lead ad hoc projects as requested by the Reporting Officer.
  • IT Administration: Manage IT documentation, records, and policies to ensure compliance and operational consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Minimum Diploma in Information/Computer Technology or related disciplines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to Windows Operating System and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive). Experience with other mainstream software systems (e.g., iOS, Mac OS X, Android) is advantageous.
  • Collaborative Skills: Ability to work collaboratively across groups and levels, effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to perform duties after hours when necessary.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English and the respective mother tongue.
