Job Duties:
- Lead and manage a team of QS in the administration and review of procurement and contract management
- Responsible and lead the team on evaluation and preparation of sub-contractors' claims and issuance of payment response within stipulated timeframe (SOP Act)
- Allocate tasks to QS and provide effective supervision
- Review contract documents and provide cost estimates on tenders
- Oversee and manage main contract progress claim and subcontract payment including variation claim
- Oversee the management of document control and distribution of drawings, specifications, and all other relevant documents.
- Ensure proper documentation of additional works, alterations or design changes, and lead the team in preparing variation orders
- Advise and administer Extension of Time claim
- Ensure timely finalization of main contract and subcontract
- Prepare and monitor project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work, variations and adjust budget projections accordingly
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying / construction management / civil engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in project tendering, contract negotiation, administration and/or management （General Building Background）
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, problem solving abilities
