Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Strategic Planning and Implementation: Assist in developing and executing business strategies to achieve organizational targets for steel products, such as steel plates and beams, in the region, with a focus on Southeast Asia.
- Tender Management: Assess tender inquiries, review requirements, prepare information for internal stakeholders and external suppliers, address client clarifications, and prepare tender documents and proposals for submission.
- Contract Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with customers and suppliers to finalize contracts and ensure favorable terms.
- Market Familiarity: Stay informed about the local business environment, including laws, customs, taxes, and business practices, and conduct regular market intelligence through periodic customer visits.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (customers, suppliers, and internal team members) to ensure smooth business operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the steel products industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Commitment to overcoming challenges and achieving objectives.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
