Sales Manager

Coordinate with interkal departments to align an approach for client engagement. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies. Lead and manage the activities of sales and marketing staff.


Liaise with clients on pre and post sales. Manage and grow existing accounts to increase revenue. Review client feedback to improve on client service delivery.


Analyse data and intel on competitor landscape and customer demand to identify sales opportunities. Communicate and review sale teams' sales performance metrics against key performance indicators. Conduct negotiation of sales agreements. Develop actions for clients' requests that deviate from signed sales agreements.


Develop consultative selling methods to identify clients' needs. Develop measures to enhance client retention based on customer data and purchasing behaviour. Develop measures to strengthen client portfolio based on client segmentation. Develop sales strategies to align with client segmentation, competitor analysis and overall strategies.


Develop upselling techniques. Handle complex customer enquiries. Lead follow-up with clients to close sales. Manage sales channels and database of sales leads.


Participate in relevant industry events for networking. Prepare and present sales proposals to clients. Propose recommendations to form and allocate sales teams. Propose sales channels and network expansion plans.


Qualify sales leads. Relay customer feedback and market sentiments to internal stakeholders to enhance products and services. Review recommendations of products and services to match clients' needs. Support official responses to client dissatisfaction of products and services delivery.


Define product or service offerings in terms of customer needs and expectations. Determine IT growth opportunities based on market analysis. Develop customer service plans to support customers. Develop proposals in accordance to the organisation's standards and guidelines.


Establish resource requirements to deliver excellent sales support and customer service. Evaluate the products and services for potential improvements that may lead to growth in sales or market size. Gather customer feedback on the organisation's products and services and ensure that the quality and consistency of services are improved and maintained. Gather the customer's and prospect's requirements, and resolve all issues requiring clarification before the proposal is finalised.


Handle customers feedback and provide suitable sales solutions to maintain and enhance relationships with customers. Identify and assess the marketing opportunities and threats to the organisation. Identify and prioritise customers to build effective sales relationships. Maintain records of contact with customers with their needs and any further actions that may be required.


Provide details on the terms of sales. Respond effectively to the customer's queries and objections, and disseminate information about customers and their buying needs promptly and accurately to relevant people within the organisation.


Align the key focal areas for the organisation based on the sales and distribution strategy. Analyse the market and forecast key trends that may impact the organisation. Assist customers in the regular financial evaluation of and updates for their accounts. Be familiar with organisation laws and any other regulations.
