Scrub Nurse
- Salary: $3,500 to $4,500 (depending on experience)
- Location: Orchard & Novena
- Working Hours: (Mon to Fri) 8.30am to 5.30pm (Sat) 8.30am to 1pm
Job responsibilities
Patient Care Management
- Ensure operating rooms are prepared for procedures, respect patient rights and confidentiality, conduct preoperative assessments, and ensure surgical equipment readiness.
- Assist in patient positioning, support surgeons during procedures, and participate in anesthesia and recovery tasks.
- Maintain sterility standards, intervene in emergencies, and accurately document patient records.
Patient Education
- Maintain effective communication and interpersonal relations with the patients and caregivers
Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing nursing education, mentor junior staff, provide feedback on clinical performances, conduct in-service education, and act as a resource for perioperative nurses.
Risk and Quality Management
- Deliver evidence-based care, report unsafe practices, ensure infection control compliance, implement fall prevention measures, and identify opportunities for clinical improvement.
Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
- Advanced diploma or degree in nursing or equivalent
- With relevant working experience
