We are a growing engineering consulting company based in Singapore, seeking for a high performing professional to join us as an Associate Director – Civil & Structural.
About You
We’re looking for someone who loves to learn and share knowledge – someone who can bring a fresh perspective to ensure the development of the people around them and who constantly seeks better practice for the overall quality of our work and our client experience.
Your strengths in technical leadership, project delivery, client relationships and in guiding and mentoring staff will ensure your success in this role. You will be a Professional Engineer and passionate about the opportunity to grow others, be motivated by being in leadership roles with the ability to ‘own’ the delivery of quality client outcomes throughout the region.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to:
· Deliver operational excellence through effective management of complex technical solutions and large and complex projects / multiple jobs.
· Work on structure projects from inception, through strategic planning from concept to detailed design, construction and completion.
· Lead and manage C&S project teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes.
· Understand the client’s business and strategic issues in order to ensure successful outcomes and maximise repeat business revenue.
· In charge and accountable for project activities from planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting.
. Review engineering design and endorse submissions if performing the role as a Qualified Person.
· Respond to client enquiries about technical issues in a way that maximises understanding.
· Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills.
· Provide technical advice to team members/colleagues in supporting or leading role and embrace a culture that values teamwork.
· Provide mentoring and coaching to junior peers across the discipline and delegate appropriately.
Pre-Requisites
· Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
· Minimum 10 -15 years of experience with design of multi-storey/high-rise building from a local engineering consulting environment is preferred.
· Certified Singapore Professional Engineer will be an advantage.
· Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures.
· Competent user of relevant engineering software.
· Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives.
· Able to interact and work with colleagues and member of other consultants at various levels.
· A team, client and delivery focused working style.
