Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Cloudera clusters.
Monitor cluster performance and health.
Implement security protocols and best practices.
Perform regular system upgrades and patches.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Hadoop and associated technologies.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data workflows.
Ensure data integrity and availability.
Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Extensive experience with Cloudera administration.
Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, etc.).
Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems.
Experience with cluster monitoring tools (e.g., Cloudera Manager).
Familiarity with security practices (Kerberos, LDAP integration).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
