Officer/Senior Officer – Admissions and Continuing Education
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Admissions and Continuing Education, the individual in this role will be responsible for working with the Deputy Director to devise innovative marketing strategies, conducting thorough research, and collaborating with the team to execute the Pre Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) business plan. He/she must ensure the marketing efforts comply with the standards set by the Committee for Private Education (CPE) and work towards augmenting the number of applications.
Key responsibilities encompass:
- Providing detailed information to the public, including prospective applicants, parents, teachers, and companies, addressing program-related inquiries.
- Maintaining robust relationships with prospective students/adult learners, parents, teachers, and industry contacts is essential.
- Representing the institution at PET and CET-related events, organizing on-campus events, and attending fairs.
- Liaising with the Marketing Communications department on all communication materials and creatives.
- Overseeing the administration and utilization of the Training Partners Gateway portal, ensuring precise and up-to-date course listings and information.
- Stay informed about policy changes, new initiatives, and funding opportunities with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) are integral facets of this role.
- Prompt response to inquiries from prospective students and adult learners
- Monitoring and reporting application numbers for Admissions and Continuing Education.
- Auditing application files, creating individual student/adult learner folders, and processing admissions for incoming students/adult learners, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and data protection regulations.
- Any other duties assigned
Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in admissions, continuing education for adult learning, or a related field is preferred.
- Effective organizational and project management skills would be essential to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with higher education policies, accreditation requirements, SkillsFuture initiatives and Training Partners Gateway portal.
- Strong time management abilities and must be attentive to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a must.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
