The Opportunity:
Join our dynamic team as the Finance Business Transformation Manager for the Singapore P&C Business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in redefining our finance operations for the future. Your mission? To enhance user experiences, boost employee engagement, and champion change across our organization. In collaboration with the Finance team leader, dedicated team members, and Operations project teams, you'll spearhead a variety of initiatives. From implementing innovative process improvements and automation to adopting tools and workflows, you'll be at the forefront of our transformation journey. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to develop innovative ideas and drive transformation. Gather and analyze feedback from Finance team members and stakeholders to uncover opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Together with the CFO ensure our strategic goals are aligned, especially concerning data flow. Work hand-in-hand with team leaders to prioritize tasks, manage timelines for our Finance transformation, and spearhead initiatives that drive continuous improvement
- Work closely with team leaders to review and understand our processes and data flow in PPM, FAR, Fin Ops, and Actuarial. Together, we'll brainstorm and propose innovative solutions to enhance our operations.
- You'll play a key role in transitioning our current reporting to these new tools, finding creative uses for our existing ones, and suggesting new features when needed
- Bring data to life across all teams by creating insightful visualizations that reveal trends and patterns. Help drive better decision-making, boost stakeholder engagement, and improve communication through compelling data stories
- Regularly check and assess our solutions to ensure they align with expectations and deliver the results we're aiming for.
- Work together with the team to pinpoint the key performance indicators (KPIs) that will help us track the success of our solutions. You'll also play a crucial role in guiding and supporting our team through change management processes to make sure our solutions are embraced and achieve the desired results
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, finance or business preferred) and/or relevant professional qualifications in the field of accounting
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance and/or Actuarial function (Commercial Insurance and Reinsurance are beneficial)
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Strong knowledge in General Insurance business and products
- High analytical skills in financial analysis and business processes
- Excellent computer technical skills including proficiency in Excel and SAP
- Experience in Business Development and RPA/automation are beneficial
- Strong critical thinking abilities.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities and team player
- Primary work location is Singapore.
