Responsibilities:
- Sourcing, evaluate and purchasing of electronics components/mechanical parts from reliable supplier that can meet required specifications.
- Negotiates with suppliers for better pricing, quantity, delivery terms.
- Comparison of specifications and pricing and counter propose to Engineers for alternative approval.
- Issue Purchase Orders based on purchase requisition.
- Following up on outstanding backlog and expediting of urgent materials.
- Work with Finance/Store to resolve DO/Invoice discrepancy.
- Work with QC to resolve suppliers’ quality issues.
- Involve with yearly audit ISO9001 & 14001.
Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Procurement and Supply Chain related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing industry (OEM).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words and Excel).
- Familiar with using Sum Product / Conditional formatting / Sort/Filter / Vlookup/ Pivot and formulas.
- Good Communication, negotiation, problem solving and sourcing skills
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and in a team
- Experience in machining/metal stamping parts will be added advantage
