ROLE: Warehouse Delivery Driver
- THE PROVIDORE SINGAPORE
Job Description:
In your role as a Warehouse Delivery Driver with THE PROVIDORE SINGAPORE, you will be part of a tight, close-knit and fun warehouse team that manages the daily operational warehouse functions for the Company.
Together with a group of reliable drivers, you will on a day-to-day basis:
- Process online delivery orders by generating order information through the designated online platform
- Generate and print delivery orders and invoices
- Prepare order items and check all items are in good order
- Efficiently plan the day's delivery best possible route prior to executing deliveries to our outlets and/or deliveries to customers' delivery addresses
- Ensure prompt and safe delivery of orders to our outlets and/or customers' delivery addresses
- Follow-up on any possible defective and/or undelivered items/orders by notifying your supervisor, and assist in making arrangements with the order recipients accordingly if/when required
- Update delivery records and ensure accurate information is put on record
- Ensure all processed documents are filed in an orderly manner for recording and auditing purposes
- Support the warehouse team if/when orders are fulfilled or there is a lower number of orders to be delivered
- Be exposed to other skill-development plans and/or ad-hoc tasks beneficial for your development
Job Requirements:
- Possess valid Class 3 Driving License with at least 2 years' driving experience
- Prior related experience in a warehouse environment and as a delivery driver will be advantageous but not necessary as training and guidance will be provided
- Able to work safely under possible time-constraint pressure
- Good communication skills with positive, interpersonal skills i.e., team player
- Good sense of job responsibility and a keen eye for details
- Honest willingness to learn, grow and develop with the Company
- Willing to work 5.5 days a week
- Weekdays, Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm (one of the days will be a half-day)
- Weekends, Saturday 6am - 3pm
- If required to cover, Weekends, Sunday 6am - 3pm (additional monetary incentive will be given if activated)
