Job Duties:
- Support group companies in South-East Asia, especially in the areas of business management, business planning and strategic activities.
- Perform the role as a Director of the Board of the assigned group companies. Support the attendees of Board of Directors meeting held at the group companies.
- Conduct the roles as shareholders of the group companies, for example important decision making, communications with regulators.
- Strategize, plan and establish business strategies to achieve the corporate vision and mission of TM Asia and its group companies.
- Conduct regular management and business performance reporting activities of Tokio Marine Asia Group to Tokio Marine Holdings in Tokyo, Japan.
- Attend multiple internal committees.
- Oversees Life Actuarial Department of the company.
Requirements:
- University Degree with professional insurance qualifications.
- At least 10 years of experience in insurance industry.
- Knowledge of Underwriting and/or Finance and/or Accounting with working experience in companies operating globally.
- Proficiency in Japanese language is required to liaise with Japan HQ and to read and translate Japanese reports/documents.
- Good written, presentation and communication skills in both English and Japanese languages.
