As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for an Intern Teacher to join our team.
What You’ll Do:
As an Intern Teacher at Mind Stretcher, you will be interacting with students to help them develop a love of learning and enabling them to reach their full potential. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student performance, communication with parents and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers and guidance to students in accordance with Mind Stretcher’s curriculum.
- Establish and maintain a positive, organised, and safe classroom environment to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Lesson preparation to effectively deliver key lesson objectives and marking of student’s assignments when required.
- Available to cover Cover relief duties during within designated work hours when required.
- Other ad-hoc operational duties as assigned during designated work hours when required.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Language, Mathematics or Science is a plus.
- Passionate about learning and educating the younger generation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Available to perform teaching duties and relief duties on one weekend day. Able to perform duties on one weekend day.
- Past teaching or Tutoring experience will be a plus.
