Job Title: Account Manager (Marine) - Service and Digital


Our Client: Our client's marine solutions enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and safety of maritime operations. With a portfolio that includes electric propulsion systems, energy storage, automation, and digital services, they provide cutting-edge solutions for various vessels. Their integrated power and automation solutions optimize performance and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.


As the account manager, your key duties are to build and maintain client relationships, manage projects, oversee the implementation of solutions, and ensure client satisfaction. You'll be the primary point of contact, responsible for understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions that align with their goals.


The Responsibilities:

  • Driving service sales targets by providing cost-effective solutions and initiating improvement plans as needed
  • Developing and implementing a service sales strategy and promoting value-added service products
  • Achieving service sales volume by ensuring the team sells the allocated service portfolio and participating in major contract negotiations
  • Generating and identifying service sales leads by analysing existing customer potential and targeting new opportunities from emerging trends with available service solutions
  • Recommending appropriate solutions for customer requests and coordinating with related teams to ensure comprehensive handling of requests (e.g., production, scheduling, resourcing, quotes, pricing, invoicing)
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships, proactively informing customers about issue status, clarifying questions, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the process

The Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering or a relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the aftersales market, preferably in marine and ports
  • Front-end sales experience with knowledge of service agreements, methodologies, and lifecycle modernization sales
  • SAP experience with technical and commercial business knowledge
  • Strong time management, coordination, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure
  • Business-minded and results-focused with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
