JOB SUMMARY
The primary role of the Field Service Technician is to support and handle technical inquiries and service requests relating to the installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of V-ZUG appliances.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle and support technical queries and service requests in Singapore, and possibly other locations if needed.
- Carry out highly competent fault diagnosis and may propose appliance replacement if needed, subject to the approval from the Head of Service and Support, including field service jobs for end consumers.
- Provide technical support and ensure the agreed service level to our end consumers; always reflecting the V-ZUG branding in all touchpoints.
- Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolutions.
- Able to handle different unique personalities with patience.
- Create and maintain a close long-term relationship, particularly with end-customers.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Execute and support activities e.g. conversions, software updates, in-house repairs, quality checks, etc. for technical after-sales service.
- Be a technical representative during promotional activities (fairs, shows, etc.) and ensure with each contact a positive premium brand image, always taking the core values of V-ZUG into consideration.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Knowledge, skills, and abilities Proven customer support experience required for competent performance on the job)
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in field service repair and installation
- Knowledge of electrical installation is a must
- NITEC in Electrical Engineering
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different unique personalities
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal; excellent spoken Mandarin
- Must be prepared to carry and move heavy appliances
- The suitable candidate must not be afraid of pets (Our customers may have dogs in their residences)
- Driving licence is a must

- Salary will be commensurated according to relevant working experience
