Job Summary

· The Engagement Lead will be supporting the execution and delivery of all communication and engagement activities across Transaction Banking, including TB Sales, Correspondent Banking, TB TTO and other CCIB stakeholders globally.

· The primary responsibility of the incumbent will be to own and manage virtual and in person events, townhalls, webinars and communications pertaining to Transaction Banking’s strategic initiatives, Business strategy, Diversity and Inclusion and people agenda.

· The aim is to work closely with Head of Business Engagement and stakeholders to deliver Communications strategy and tactics to build the One TB identity and organisational alignment through clear and impactful content and activities through various formats and channels.

Strategy

· Collaborate with business and other internal stakeholders to deliver virtual and in-person engagement activities and events in accordance with project timelines and milestones

· When needed, collaborate with external vendors to ensure events and communications are rolled out in accordance with the highest standards of professionalism and quality execution

· Ensure flawless execution of communication projects across various markets, teams and product lines

· Support articulating the business strategy across multiple channels and activities

· Where required, lead working groups and review meetings

Processes
Measurement and Feedback

· Monitor and report engagement levels for various internal and external activities levels according to success metrics of project and communications plans

· Define and implement tools and procedures to measure effectiveness of communication efforts and events to identify ways to improve results as and where needed

· In partnership with respective partners, proactively manage surveys for constant feedback

Risk Management

· Ensure there is due diligence on vendor capabilities and service records when evaluating vendors

· Manage and ensure communication budgets are within approved spend

Governance

· Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

· Provide insight and business validated input on PEDs, RED packs, project closure and status reports

· Adhere to financial governance, supply chain management and procurement guidelines for third party vendor sourcing arrangements.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

· Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

· Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

· Lead the TB comms activities to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles:Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment

· Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

· TB Product, Sales, DCDA, Global Subsidiaries and other TB sales teams

· TB TTO teams

· Global CCIB & TB Communications and Marketing Teams

· TB HR Business partners

· TB D&I council

· Key Functional Partners

External:

· External vendors and agencies where required

Other Responsibilities

· Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in Transaction Banking; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures;

Our Ideal Candidate

· 5+ years of experience in Banking experience

· Internal communication, events & townhall management, hosting and management of webinars -

· Good understanding of banking domain and banking products.

· Public relations, internal, external and communications Corporate Communications

· Content Management, Communication channel management
