We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily involve coordinating international trading events and managing related projects. The ideal candidate should have exceptional organizational skills, a strong background in event management, and the ability to create compelling presentations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and manage international trading events from inception to execution.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for events, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to secure necessary resources and support.
- Oversee logistics including venue selection, travel arrangements, catering, and accommodations.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and reports using PowerPoint and other tools as needed.
- Monitor event progress and manage on-site logistics to ensure smooth operations.
- Evaluate event success and provide post-event analysis, including ROI assessments.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align event strategies with organizational goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- 7-10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or Coordinator in the events industry, preferably with a focus on international trading events.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint for creating impactful presentations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of international trade regulations and practices is a plus.
Candidates with "wine and/or cigar industry" (i.e. sales, trade events, distribution) is a big plus.
